NEWINGTON - Police arrested a man and a woman on prostitution charges on the Berlin Turnpike Tuesday, Nov. 20, after an undercover operation.

       Kevin Huckaby, 28, of 28 Wilmot Rd., Hamden, and Shannon O’Brien, 24, of 174 Prospect St., Middletown, were each charged with prostitution. O’Brien was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of narcotics, police said.

       Huckaby was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and O’Brien was released on $10,000 non-surety bond, police said. Each were due in court Tuesday, after press time.
