Byron Wants Newington Feedback on State Transportation
NEWINGTON - With the legislature’s 2016 session having begun Feb. 3, state Rep. Gary Byron (R-Newington) is asking residents for feedback on the Governor’s Transportation Finance Panel recommendations.

Over the last year, Gov. Malloy has talked about improving our state’s transportation grid through his 30-year, $100 billion Let’s Go CT! initiative.

A panel was created to recommend ways to generate Special Transportation Fund revenue to pay for some of the governor’s â€"key preservation and repair projects,” such as I-84 viaducts in Hartford and Waterbury.

â€"I want to hear from the residents of Newington. What are your transportation priorities? Please fill out my survey, I want to know what you think about these important transportation proposals as we begin our new legislative session,” said Rep. Byron.
